Negocios Now celebrates its 9th edition of Latinos 40 under 40 in Chicago

With this group, the publication founded in 2007 has recognized 520 young people from Chicago and other parts of the country. The event was sponsored by BMO Financial Group.

Negocios Now successfully celebrated its ninth edition of Latinos 40 under 40 in Chicago, recognizing a total of 520 young leaders since the program began in 2025.

Martha Razo, the Rising Star award, along with Clemente Nicado, Publisher of Negocios Now.

Sponsored by BMO Bank, this new group includes executives from corporations, business owners, lawyers, young people in government, and non-profit organizations, among others.

“We are proud to recognize this new group of leaders who make a difference in their respective industries,” said Clemente Nicado, Publisher of Negocios Now.

“But this achievement is not only credited to my team but to many who participate in the nomination process and help this publication in many ways,” he added.

Andrea Vallejo, 25, recipient of the Youngest Latinos Under 40 award.

“I want to thank BMO very much for their continuous support of a program that we also celebrate in NYC and that is expanding nationwide,” he said.

As usual, during the ceremony, Negocios Now awards four special prizes.

Ismael Rocha, 39, celebrates his ‘Leader of the Pack’ award.

‘Leader of the Pack’ award went to Ismael Rocha, BMO Virtual Connect Unit Manager – Retail & Small Business Sales (AVP) and the ‘Youngest Latino Under 40’ award went to Andrea Vallejo from the Office of Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker.

The ‘Latinos in Business Under 40’ award went to Michaelangelo Hernandez, Vice President of WSP, and the ‘Rising Star’ award went to Martha Razo, CEO of Guero’s Pallets and co-founder of SOLiX Business Services.
