Christian Narvaez is a New York City native and the child of immigrants from Ecuador. He is the founder and managing partner of Rayo Capital, which accelerates, funds, and supports early-stage Web3 founders globally with a focus on Latin America. Narvaez is also the Co-Founder of Web3 Familia, a global community and support network for founders & developers in Web3.Prior to his current roles, he was a Venture Partner at Inception Capital, an early-stage venture capital fund that backs the leading founders and asset managers across Asia and the West. Before that, he was an investor at Rebel One Ventures, where his focus was on investing in early-stage startups within the Fintech and Web3 ecosystems.
From 2010 to 2020, he was on Wall Street, covering clients in both the U.S. market and Latin America, with his last role as an Investment Banker at BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking. He currently sits on the board of The Blockchain Acceleration Foundation and the Association of Latino Professionals for America. Narvaez has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Spanish Literature from Baruch College.
