Mark Rivera, anchor and reporter of ABC7, will receive the special award of Latinos under 40 Rising Star during the award ceremony of Chicago-Latinos 40 under 40 Class of 2022, on March 30th, at Bazaar Meat by Chef Andres.
Mark is a skilled anchor and a versatile reporter adept at covering everything from big breaking news to politics and feature stories.

Since it launched this program in 2015, Negocios Now awards special prizes among the 40 young people from different industries who are recognized.
The other awards go to Edgar Candelas, president of the Northwest Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (Youngest Latino under 40 Award); Monica Lopez, Director of Acquisition of Northwestern Mutual Chicagoland (Leader of the Pack Award) and Ruben Flores Martinez, founder of CASHDROP (Latino Under 40 in Business Award).
“We are pleased to have assembled another amazing group of Latino leaders in the Chicago metropolitan area and also to have received many other nominations from outstanding Latinos in different industries who unfortunately could not be chosen this time, but will be considered for future editions,” said Nicado.
The edition and celebration event is presented by BMO Harris Bank and is also supported by Comcast Business, Peoples Gas, United Airlines, Abbvie, Northwestern Mutual Chicagoland, Walsh Construction and ABC7. Other sponsors will be announced before the event.
