Wellington, FL (HINA Wire) – The Florida State Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (FSHCC) announced the appointment of Daniel Martell, Vice President of State Legislative Affairs for Florida Power & Light Company, to the FSHCC’s Board of Governors.

Daniel Martell joined Florida Power & Light in June of 2016. Daniel serves as VP of Legislative Affairs for FPL, Florida’s largest investor-owned utility based in Juno Beach. Prior to FPL, he served as the President and CEO of the Economic Council of Palm Beach County, which is a nonprofit business advocacy organization in Palm Beach County, Florida. Daniel also served as VP of Real Estate for Florida Crystals Corporation. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law, and a BA degree from the University of Florida. Daniel has served on multiple statewide and local nonprofit boards and continues to serve his community. He is a native of Jacksonville and currently resides in Tallahassee with his wife, Cheryl, and three children.
