Age: 38

Organization: ReaAlly LLC

Title: Co-founder

Andrés Portilla is dedicated to fostering the growth of Latino businesses in North America. With a background in industrial engineering from Rutgers University, an executive MBA from Temple University, and additional studies in business scaling and mergers and acquisitions, at Stanford and Columbia Universities, Portilla is a seasoned entrepreneur who has co-founded five companies with a track record of distributing millions of products in the U.S. market.

Portilla moved to New Jersey in the beginning of 2000, co-founded his first formal business while still in high school, and experienced the corporate world at Johnson & Johnson, Goldman Sachs, and Bristol-Myers Squibb until 2007 when many of his peers lost their jobs. That inspired him to become part of the solution; since then, Portilla has co-founded four additional companies, aiming to create more job opportunities. During the pandemic, he spearheaded a venture that facilitated the manufacturing and distribution of hand sanitizer, establishing a national distribution channel through CVS within months.

Currently Portilla is serving as a co-founder of ReaAlly, a sales consulting agency, where he focuses on helping Latino business owners accelerate their sales with a hands-on approach. Portilla and his team enhance commercial strategy, processes, and execution to deliver tangible results taking businesses by the hand to the execution of their recommendations.

Portilla values family time in his leisure hours, loves learning about technology and leadership, enjoys outdoor activities, and is passionate about supporting fellow entrepreneurs.
