Adela Ortega, a businesswoman whose business is rebuilding locomotives, will be this year’s recipient of the Latina in Business Award at the Negocios Now Who’s Who in Hispanic Chicago gala this July 13 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
The story of the owner of Professional Locomotive Services, Inc. (PLS), an Illinois company founded in 1996, was published on the cover of Negocios Now last year.
“I can safely say that Adela’s story has been one of the most inspiring stories that Negocios Now has published in the last few years and speaks for itself as to why the Latina segment is growing faster than any other segment in the US,” said Clemente Nicado, publisher of Negocios Now.
The national-award winning publication will be celebrating the 5th Anniversary of its “Who’s Who in Hispanic Chicago” special edition and gala, a unique event held in the city to recognize and celebrate Hispanic leadership.
BMO Harris Bank will once again be our presenting sponsor, along with Wintrust, ComEd, Remy Martin, and United Airlines, among others that will be announced in the following days
