Ricky Regalado who considers himself a serial entrepreneur, is the proud owner of Rozalado Services, a true family business to the core. Even the name of his growing company is derived from his cousin Tony Pedroza’s last name and his own. He started the business in 2012 with his wife Marley and his cousin Tony.
Since opening, the company has grown to employ 15 family members and 300 employees in 12 states. During that time, the company has grown from simply a cleaning company to a full-service provider for large clients including Oak Street Health, Amazon, Cushman Wakefield, Foxtrot, LG Construction and many others. The goal has been to bring an innovative and hospitality service approach to the cleaning industry.
The company was recently ranked No. 1,496 on the INC 5,000 list, growing by 276% in three years. Regalado looks at his company and team as a solution for their client’s needs. As a result, they have launched a new division, Roza Contractors, to specialize in day-to-day maintenance and contracting projects for clients.
He also runs a tech startup, Route. It’s a sales platform for the commercial cleaning industry that came to be after Regalado was frustrated by the lack of technology in the sales’ front end of the business. Route is designed as the first market digital walk-through, estimator and proposal generating tool. The goal is to empower the cleaning industry with tools and solutions to grow and operate efficiently.
