Daniel Ramos serves as vice president of operations where he oversees the 24 hour and event security divisions of the company, encompassing more than 170 facilities and 18 public venues.

With over $40M in annual revenue and 4,500 employees, of which 73%+ are minorities or women, and more than 450 off-duty law enforcement personnel- Monterrey Security is one of the largest minority-owned security firms in the country.

Over its 20-year history, Monterrey Security has developed customized protection and security programs for a diverse list of organizations including professional sports franchises, financial institutions, corporations, universities and cultural institutions. Monterrey Security is also directly responsible for securing some of the largest public assembly facilities and special events in Chicago and throughout the Midwest.

Ramos has been instrumental in building and implementing systems to streamline the firm’s security services while also incorporating modern technology into their day-to-day operations. Today Ramos is responsible for managing client relations, contract deliverables, workforce management and quality control programs.

He also works closely with the company’s Human Resources department to oversee their community-based hiring initiatives and extending career path opportunities in security and law enforcement to some of the most underserved communities in the Chicagoland area.
