JW Marriott Mexico City and Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO) are two new sponsors of the “Latinos 40 Under 40 Celebration & Networking” event, to be held Feb. 18 at Chicago’s Nacional 27, a unique venue that features music, food and dance of Latin America. Remy Martin is a Millennial sponsor of the event, joining the Mexican Tourism Board to help celebrate the Chicago area’s top Latinos leaders under 40.

Nicado Publishing Company, owner of the national award-winning Negocios Now publication, announced the new sponsors as well as a raffle opportunity Thursday. Attendees will have the chance to win two airline tickets and a three-night, four-day stay at the Marriott Mexico City, among other surprises.

Last month Negocios Now became the first publication to produce a list of outstanding Chicago-area Latinos under 40, following a three-month nomination period. Honorees represent business, government, nonprofit, political, professional sports and education sectors, among other fields.

“Just as we had anticipated, the honorees are young Latinos with tremendous talent who not only give their legacy to the Hispanic community, but society as a whole,” said Clemente Nicado, publisher and editor-in-chief of Nicado Publishing Company. “They are the present and the future of this city and we are very proud to have them as part of our first list of Latinos 40 Under 40 in Chicago.”

“Many of them are millennials, a segment very important to Negocios Now, which, since its foundation in 2007, has made an effort to be a bridge between different generations in the Hispanic community,” Nicado continued.

To celebrate the achievements of this younger generation of Latino trailblazers who are making their mark on Chicago, Negocios Now will host a presentation and networking event Feb. 18 at Nacional 27, 325 W. Huron St., in Chicago.

$40 per person tickets are available

The inaugural members of the Latino 40 Under 40 in Chicago cohort are already featured on the Negocios Now website.

Nicado Publishing launched the first Who’s Who in Hispanic Chicago two years ago to resounding success, publishing a Negocios Now special edition and hosting a gala event to recognize the Latino leaders in various fields.
