Perez is a results-oriented strategy professional, with 15 years of experience across finance strategy, corporate strategy, management consulting, and operations. He is recognized for his storytelling, his ability to structure and solve complex problems, and his exceptional organizational skills.
Currently, as a chief of staff to the CFO, Perez is responsible for driving the strategy of the finance organization by working closely with the different business teams, as well as developing new frameworks and analyses to move the thinking forward.
Prior to joining Lenovo in 2018, Perez spent six years in management consulting, where he worked for Strategy& (part of PricewaterhouseCoopers) and Argo Consulting (a boutique management consulting firm). During this time, he helped clients across multiple industries gain a competitive advantage through strategy and operating model redesign, process and cost optimization, and project leadership.
He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from UPM in Madrid, the Six Sigma black belt certification and the project management professional certification.
Perez is also passionate about helping others and has been a leader of Profesionales Españoles en Chicago, a principal networking organization for Spanish professionals in the Chicago land area, for over 10 years.
In his free time, Perez enjoys discovering new restaurants with his wife Sara, practicing archery, and playing the Indian tabla.
