As a Mexican immigrant, David Castillo is extremely thankful that HACE has taught him how to understand and embrace the Latino culture in the United States.
He grew up in the state of Queretaro, Mexico, and values how HACE has provided him with valuable insights to stand out as a leader while helping other Latinx people advance in their development journeys.
In 2019 he relocated to the United States with his employer the Kellogg Company where he is currently working as a Talent Manager supporting the Sales Organization and most recently the entire North American region.
He is a Human Resources professional with experience in recruitment and selection of personnel as well as training. As part of his responsibilities, he is in charge of the training programs for the commercial area both Sales and Marketing in Latin America.
He considers himself passionate about developing people and is a facilitator of leadership programs within the Kellogg Company.
Before Kellogg, he worked for Grupo Out Helping, a human resources outsourcing company that provided human resource solutions tailored to each client. He was an account executive with the company, whose aim is to allow companies to focus on the strategic activities of their business. Before that, he was a recruitment intern with Soraa Consultants in Mexico.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Universidad Anáhuac Querétaro and his master’s degree in coaching and leadership from OBS Business School.
