The president of Chicago United was the keynote speaker of Negocios Now Who is Who Gala event. Her organization promotes multiracial leadership in business to advance parity in economic opportunity. Under Ms. Castillo’s leadership, Chicago United has launched nationally recognized programs including the annual Changing Color of Leadership Conference and Bridge Awards Dinner, the Business Leaders of Color publications, BoardLink, The Five Forward Initiative, to name a few.
Castillo serves on a joint committee created by Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel to enhance City-County cooperation.
She also is involve Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund, The Field Foundation of Illinois, The Chicago Network, and World Sports Chicago. Negocios Now is proud of having Ms. Castillo as the keynote speaker of the first Who is Who in Hispanic Chicago event.
