Patricia Flores’s career revolves around women in STEM, healthcare, and entrepreneurship.

She launched Guías in 2021, a coaching platform with a unique approach to connecting clients with lifestyle coaches, emphasizing transparency, customer reviews, and data analytics. She has earned two grants and become a finalist for the Female Entrepreneurs Pitch Competition powered by TechRise and Chicago Innovation. She has hosted a workshop series to highlight coaches and their services, hired a team of brand ambassadors and marketing consultants, tabled at markets including Latina Expo, and spoken on panels about her experience in entrepreneurship.

As a delegate for the 2024 TechWomen Delegation to Cameroon, sponsored by the U.S. State Department, she will lead STEM workshops focusing on data science and entrepreneurship. Patricia’s involvement in the TechWomen program in Washington, D.C., has allowed her to collaborate with global women leaders in STEM and explore avenues for increased venture funding for women entrepreneurs.

As a consultant for Strata Decision Technology, Patricia implements healthcare software nationwide, empowering hospital leaders with efficient data analysis tools.

Committed to community impact, Patricia serves as Partner Lead for Latinas in Tech’s Chicago board. She focuses on expanding awareness and providing resources for professional development within the Latina community.

Academically, Patricia holds a Bachelor of Science in molecular and cellular biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MPH and MBA from Benedictine University. She has interned with the World Health Organization and United Nations and has held roles at the American Red Cross, Northwestern Medicine, and AMAH Health.

Patricia has served on boards including Alpha Psi Lambda National, INC, Prospanica Chicago Chapter, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s Latino/a Alumni Association. Her participation in the Chicago Latino Caucus Foundation’s Leadership Academy underscores her commitment to leadership development and improving health outcomes in communities of color.
