Karina Mendez, a proud native of Chicago born to Puerto Rican parents, serves as the Senior Manager of Global Learning Strategy and Leadership Development at United Airlines, where she has emerged as a guiding force.
At the forefront of employee leadership development programs, Mendez specializes in new frontline leadership, culture, and diversity, equity and inclusion. She strategically crafts initiatives that redefine the employee experience, notably innovating the onboarding process for seamless integration of new hires.
An enthusiastic advocate for talent development, Mendez actively engages with Latino Business Resource Groups, contributing significantly to their mission of attracting, retaining, and engaging Latino talent.
