Organization: MetaBronx

Title: Co-Founder

Alejandra Molina is a serial entrepreneur and activist passionate about unlocking economic opportunities through education. She has co-founded three organizations in the United States and Peru, and she is fluent in four languages after studying and working in 14 countries on four continents.

At the age of 22 she co-founded Beepboop, a live online medical Spanish simulation educational technology platform backed by Google’s Latino Founders Fund and Techstars. Through Beepboop, she built a community of 150,000 language learners worldwide, bridging linguistic barriers and aiding healthcare providers in communicating with Spanish-speaking patients during the pandemic.

Empowering young girls has always been close to her heart, which led her to co-found WarmiShine, a nonprofit that is reimagining women’s health and women’s rights education, impacting more than 450 students and teachers in Peru.

She is currently one of three co-founders of MetaBronx, a New York City accelerator for under-represented tech founders. It combines startup acceleration with youth workforce development, providing opportunities for historically marginalized youth to thrive in the 21st century. MetaBronx has partnered with the U.S. Department of State for the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative, furthering economic development of the western hemisphere via educational exchange.

Molina’s goal is to foster a community-driven innovation ecosystem. MetaBronx has hosted over 1,500 youth from underserved communities in New York, providing them with essential workforce development training. Startups of the program’s participants have raised $15 million in equity investment.
