Armed with a master’s degree in Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy at The University of Chicago and a bachelor’s in law from the Autonomous University of Baja California, Rodriguez completed the Leading Economic Growth Program at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. He holds certifications in econometrics, digital marketing, and integrated communications.

Rodriguez’s diverse career spans government, nonprofits, and the private sector. He served in various roles for the Mexican government in Baja California and later at the Consulate of Mexico in Fresno, California, focusing on cultural and community affairs.

Transitioning to Chicago, Rodriguez worked on immigration matters before delving into the technology industry. He then joined the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as Director of Policy, leading the establishment of the Latino Business Policy Institute.

Currently, Rodriguez serves as the Director of CORAMA at the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. This cutting-edge AI platform streamlines the bidding process for small, minority-owned, and women-owned businesses. CORAMA was recognized as a finalist at the 13th World Chambers Congress, highlighting its innovative impact on economic development.

Raised at the border between Mexico and the United States, Rodriguez’s bicultural upbringing enriches his perspective. He resides with his wife, Pauleth Jauregui, and daughter, Isabella, embracing his unique binational identity.
