Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Tomas Bisi moved to the U.S. in 2014 to work as a professional sailor. Since a young age, he has competed and coached teams internationally, including the U.S. Team. His passion for water sports has deeply shaped much of his early career. In 2016, he decided to transition into Tech and relocated to San Francisco to pursue a Master’s in Computer Science. 

After completing his degree, he worked as a software developer and product manager across the Cloud, AgTech, and Recruiting industries. In 2020, he co-founded HOKALI, where he currently serves as CTO and leads the Growth and Product teams. HOKALI was part of the Y Combinator Winter 2022 batch and was recently selected to join the Endeavor ScaleUp program.

The company started as a B2C sports lesson marketplace and later evolved into a B2B EdTech platform helping schools create and manage enrichment programs—covering Sports, Arts, STEM, and more. Today, HOKALI operates in San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Houston, New York, New Jersey, and Miami, having reached Product-Market Fit and preparing to scale further.

The journey at HOKALI reflects his belief in listening to users, iterating fast, and building meaningful solutions. Through his work, he has found a deeper purpose that connects back to his roots in coaching and education. Water sports continue to be a significant part of his life, not only as a passion but also as a way to stay grounded and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Today, he is on a mission to help children discover their passions and reach their potential.
