In addition to beach tourism, national parks and natural destinations within the country are registering a notable increase in bookings. Places like the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and the Rocky Mountains attract those who prefer outdoor activities, hiking, or road trips.

The hotel industry is also gearing up for a busy season. Many hotels are reporting high occupancy rates for the coming weeks, especially in popular tourist destinations. In some cases, rates have increased due to strong demand, prompting travelers to book further in advance.

Despite the industry’s optimism, experts recommend planning ahead. The surge in travelers could lead to busier airports, increased traffic on the roads, and limited availability in hotels and vacation rentals.
