Amanda is part of BMO’s Strategic Initiatives team, responsible for executing the people strategy in alignment with the business goals for Commercial, Personal & Business Banking. In this role she has built a strong reputation as a champion for employee engagement and developing talent.

In her more than 10-year tenure at BMO, Amanda has held roles in Asset Management, Commercial Banking and Human Resource. She has led the charge on creating and launching an Onboarding Tool which streamlined our onboarding processes and improved the candidate experience for BMO’s retail business. She was the force behind BMO’s HR “Giving Back Raffle/Auction”, which resulted in over $3,000 contributed to the Cara Program & Hunger Task Force.

Amanda leads the charge to give back, at work and her community, through her leadership and coordination of annual school supply drives, toy drives to provide holiday gifts to children or assisting with fundraising and soliciting in-kind donations for the annual Faces of Hope Gala in support of the Association House of Chicago where Amanda has been an Auxiliary Board member for the past 4 years.

In recognition of her commitment to fostering inclusivity at the bank, Amanda was appointed to Chair BMO’s Latino Alliance Chicago Chapter. Prior to this appointment, Amanda led Member Engagement & Events for 5 years coordinating the ERG’s Hispanic Heritage Month signature events and fundraising for the BMO Latino Alliance Scholarship Fund that sponsors two students’ full scholarships each year.

Amanda has also organized and executed seven annual fundraisers for Junior Achievement of Chicago, an organization that inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy, raising $150,000.

Amanda holds an MBA from Purdue University and a BS in Technical Management from DeVry University. In her free time, she can be found watching her 5 & 7-year-old nephews’ soccer games, or mentoring undergraduate students at Purdue University.
