In Congress and the Illinois State Senate, she drafted and advanced more than 100 pieces of bipartisan legislation. As Founder and CEO of MuniTask, a GovTech startup, she launched an artificial intelligence-enabled marketplace for workforce development while leading a globally dispersed cross-functional team. In Am Law 100 practice, Sara counseled healthcare professionals and national health insurers in complex regulatory, litigation and arbitration matters and led negotiations of labor peace agreements. She represented pro bono clients in estates and trusts matters grounded in both precision and purpose. Her global leadership, including service as a U.S. delegate to Jordan, Taiwan, and Japan, and healthcare policy and public health work in Kenya and Argentina, reflects her commitment to relationship-driven leadership across cultures.
Committed to service beyond her career, Sara serves with the Legal Services Corporation and the AIDS Foundation of Chicago. An Ironman finisher, she enjoys the discipline of triathlon and the energy and creativity found in arts, food, and music.
Sara earned her Juris Doctor (cum laude) from Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology. She also studied at the University of Illinois at Chicago, earning a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Administration and a Bachelor of Arts.
