Bio: Rocio Garcia is a thriving corporate and community leader with more than 15 years of experience in the business and civic sectors. Garcia is currently the District Sales Manager for Great Lakes Coca-Cola Bottler, a Reyes Holdings Company, where she manages large accounts and a team of account managers in the Chicago region. She leads national, regional and local programs for all 180 Coca-Cola portfolio brands.
Garcia has been with Coca-Cola for five years; in this time she has become a standout representative of the brand through her advocacy work. As president of La Vida Business Resource Group — Coca-Cola’s Hispanic Business Resource Group — Garcia coordinated and executed multi-city events focused on Hispanic community engagement. She also helps represent the LGBTQ Business Resource Group for the Coca-Cola Chicago Market Unit. Garcia represented Coca-Cola at the Human Rights Campaign, Lambda Legal and Equality Illinois, and participated on panels for the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association.
Previously, Garcia was the U.S. Sales Director for Solex Partners, a gourmet importer specializing in Spanish products. Her clients included MGM Grand, Mercat, Alinea, Lettuce Entertain You and Levy Restaurants. She worked closely with top chefs and traveled internationally to execute and attend gourmet food shows.
Garcia serves as an Executive Board Director for the Little Village Chamber of Commerce. Recently, she was selected to join the National Board for Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement. Garcia holds a bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University.
