United States Hispanic Leadership Institute

Juan Andrade Jr. is president of the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute, which has registered 2.3 million voters, published 425 studies on Latino demographics, trained more than 1 million present and future leaders, awarded more than $1.3 million in scholarships and internships, and has sponsored the largest Latino leadership conference in the nation annually since 1983. 

He received the Presidential Citizens Medal from then-President Bill Clinton for promoting civic participation and leadership development, and he received  the National Ohtli Award from the government of Mexico for distinguished service to the Mexican and Mexican American community in the United States.
