Bio: Jasmin Zamora is active in the Latino community and demonstrates leadership that continues to put her at the forefront. At Combined Insurance, Zamora manages the community relations program by overseeing charitable partnerships and organizing employee volunteer projects or community outreach events.
She also serves as the bilingual communications specialist, a role in which she supports broad public relations and internal/external communication strategies. She was brought to the company to expand and increase brand awareness in the U.S. Hispanic market, targeting Florida, Texas, California, Arizona and Illinois. Recently, Zamora helped launch her company’s first-ever Latino Resource Group, serving as the group leader and contact for its members.
Zamora has assisted other community organizations through her position at Combined Insurance, as well. She spearheaded a school supply drive that sent donations to Casa Central and ran corporate teams for the American Cancer Society for three years. She has been an active fundraiser and supporter for JDRF, a nonprofit dedicated to finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.
Zamora serves as one of the co-chairs for the Mujeres’ Young Professionals Advisory Council, a network that raises awareness and funds for Mujeres Latinas en Acción. She previously served as the marketing chair, overseeing the board’s social media pages, marketing flyers and external communications. She has volunteered for Mujeres Latinas en Acción’s youth program and was recently accepted to HACE’s Young Professionals Board as marketing chair.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Purdue University Northwest.
