Oscar Vidal is director and head of International Client Solutions for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management (MLWM). In his role, Oscar leads International Wealth Advisor (IWA) and Global Client business engagement initiatives and serves as the primary liaison across the MLWM International channel and the enterprise’s products and platforms teams, ensuring an integrated client and channel strategy and consistent execution across all international initiatives and focusing on driving program and product related solutions and identifying opportunities for strategic growth within an international risk framework.
Oscar is a 2017 Bank of America Global Diversity and Inclusion Award recipient for his work with the Hispanic Organization for Leadership and Advancement (HOLA) and is an active member and leader in other employee networks, as well as the ISG Diversity Council.
Prior to joining Merrill Lynch in 2013, Oscar held different roles in consulting, operations, and financial services in South America, Japan, and New York. Oscar holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia and a Master’s in business administration (MBA) from Georgetown University in Washington D.C., where he specialized in finance and entrepreneurship. He lives in New York City and is an avid marathoner, cyclist, and skier.
