Negocios Now is calling for nominations for its 5th Latinos 40 Under 40 in Chicago to recognize and celebrate the leadership of a new generation.
Community members can nominate the 40 Latino leaders through the negociosnow.com/40under40 website. The deadline for nominations is February 1, 2020.
Those selected will represent a group of 40 outstanding Chicagoans under the age of 40. The honorees could represent business, government, nonprofits, politics, sports, and education, among others.
“I can’t believe that 5 years have passed since we first launched this event in Chicago to celebrate the leadership of young Latinos. It has been beautiful to be able to find so many talented people that deserve recognition,” said Clemente Nicado, Publisher of Negocios Now.
“We have enjoyed meeting them and we are grateful for your appreciation of our initiative. We are looking forward to having in our award ceremony all 200 of the Latinos 40 Under 40 that have been selected in the past five years,” he said.
To celebrate the achievements of this younger generation of Latinos, Negocios Now will organize another award presentation and networking event on March 26, 2020.
“With a focus on a generation that loves to share stories and information, the initiative has had a tremendous impact on Negocios Now’s social media pages, garnering thousands of views in four months,” Nicado said.
“As the event has been more competitive with the years, we are encouraging community members to nominate their young candidates as soon as possible,” said Nicado.
