As part of its growth strategy, Nicado Publishing Company (NPC) launched the first print edition of El Viajero Latino in Denver, Colorado during US Travel IPW, the largest tourism event in the US.

This exclusive publication of tourism in Spanish targets Latinos in the US who love to travel and explore destinations around the country and other destinations.

The national magazine also appears in digital format with multimedia.

NPC is also the owner of Negocios Now, a national award-winning publication based in Chicago and focused on the Latino business community.

The first edition features destinations such as Florida, Los Angeles, and Chicago, as well as cruises, car rentals, airports, and airlines information. NPC was supported in this effort by Choose Chicago, Greater Miami Convention & Visitors, Hyatt, the Mexico Tourism Board, and Holland America Line.

“We’ve been really surprised by the reception of the publication among representatives of the tourism industry. They understand that we have a growing Latino community of 55 million with high purchasing power and that they are lovers of travel,” said Clemente Nicado, the publisher.

NPC said that its website, elviajerolatino.com, which was launched previously, will be redesigned and updated with all the Internet tools needed to effectively reach the avid Latino travel community.

For Nicado, the launch site cannot be better. IPW is the travel industry’s premier international marketplace and the largest generator of travel to the U.S. In just three days of pre-scheduled business appointments, more than 6,000 delegates representing U.S. travel organizations from every region of the USA meet face-to-face with international and domestic buyers and media from 70+ countries to conduct future travel business to the USA.
