CHICAGO.- Negocios Now has solidified its position as the most highly decorated Latino business publication in the country in recent years upon earning three more awards at the National Association of Hispanic Publications’ annual conference, which was held Oct. 21-23 in McAllen, Texas.
Founded nine years ago by Nicado Publishing Company, based in Chicago, Negocios Now received the Gold Award for its marketing newsletter and two more awards for Outstanding Business Article and Outstanding Business Section.
In the past six years, the B2B publication has received more than a dozen awards, including the prestigious Peter Lisagor Award for General Excellence in 2012 and special recognition from the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in 2013 for its contributions to the Hispanic business community.
“Several things have made Negocios Now a multi-award-winning publication: our passion for the good content, the overwhelming support of the Latino business community and of our sponsors, who have provided a vehicle for us to reach the emerging Hispanic business community through useful and well-written content as well as excellent design,” said Clemente Nicado, publisher.
Negocios Now distributes print copies of its publication in the Chicago metropolitan area and sends a monthly digital edition through a newsletter.
Nicado Publishing Company also hosts the Who’s Who in Hispanic Chicago Gala Event, where the city’s most prominent leaders in a range of fields are recognized for their impact, and last year the company launched “Latinos 40 under 40” to encourage the next generation.
“We will celebrate our 10th anniversary in a big way,” Nicado said. “Negocios Now is here a decade later because of hard work, like many small businesses. Celebrating the success of Negocios Now is celebrating the success of millions of Latino businesses that overcome obstacles and move forward.”
NPC would like to add thanks not only to organizations that have been sponsors of the publication over the last 9 years, but others that support the community of Latino businesses across the country, Nicado said.
