Negocios Now to launch ‘Outstanding Latino Doctor’ special coverage

The announcement comes as NPC invests in its digital platform, which reached more than two million impressions in the first six months of this year.

Negocios Now is working on a special edition profiling Outstanding Latino Doctors as part of the Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations.

“We know that there is a growing number of specialists in virtually all health disciplines who deserve recognition for their professionalism and dedication,” said Clemente Nicado, Negocios Now’s publisher.

The national award-winning publication began recognizing healthcare professionals from its inception in 2007 and created a section in its special edition, “Who’s Who,” launched seven years later.

“We are excited to create an extraordinary list of Hispanic doctors in Chicago and its metropolitan area as an expression of Latino strength in the healthcare field,” he said. He affirmed that they are part of a significant group in a city where 30 percent of its citizens are of Hispanic origin, and they are the fastest-growing group.

The announcement comes as NPC invests in its digital platform, which reached more than two million impressions in the first six months of this year. The profiles of the selected doctors will also be published in “El Chicago Hispano,” Nicado Publishing’s community publication launched in 2011, which prints 20,000 copies weekly.
