Negocios Now to bring “Latinos 40 under 40” to Silicon Valley

For the first time, Negocios Now will bring this initiative to the nation’s considered capital of technological development. Nominations will be open starting on October 15th.

Negocios Now announced that it will produce the first annual edition of “Latinos 40 Under 40” in Silicon Valley (SV), expanding this initiative to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Nominations will open on October 15th on the Latinos40under40.com website. The event will take place in the spring of 2024.

Lucy Pinto, Senior Marketing Manager at Google and recipient of the “Latinos 40 under 40 Class of 2019 in New York City.

BMO Financial Group, a longtime Negocios Now’s partner, announced that it will sponsor the special edition and event to recognize and celebrate the leadership of a new generation of Latino leaders in the Silicon Valley and San Francisco area.

“We are very excited to celebrate the first Latinos 40 Under 40 in Silicon Valley, a region filled with young talent deserving recognition for their leadership in one of the most vibrant areas in the world,” said Clemente Nicado, Publisher of Negocios Now.

“I am glad to have BMO supporting this initiative that we are expanding nationwide”, said Nicado. The bank was the Presenting sponsor of the Latinos 40 under 40 Class of 2022 celebration last April. 

Founded in 2007, Negocios Now is an award-winning publication recognized nationally. The publication focuses on business owners and the economic development of the Latino community.

In 2014, NN launched the first “Who’s Who in Hispanic Business” to recognize Hispanic leadership, followed by the first “Latinos 40 Under 40” in 2015. 

Since it was created, Negocios Now has honored 470 young leaders from Chicago, New York, and other parts of the country.
