Negocios Now launches a Special Edition for Los Angeles ahead of Latinos 40 Under 40™ Event

This newly released edition includes exclusive interviews with some of the region’s most recognized entrepreneurs, such as Rosa Porto, owner of Porto’s Bakery.

CHICAGO, August 7 – In anticipation of its upcoming Latinos 40 Under 40™ celebration in Los Angeles (LA) this November, Negocios Now (NN) has announced the release of a special edition dedicated to highlighting Latino leaders and businesses in the second-largest city in the United States.

This newly released edition includes exclusive interviews with some of the region’s most recognized entrepreneurs, such as Rosa Porto, owner of the iconic Porto’s Bakery; Lizette Espinosa, co-founder of infanttech; Mike Cano, founder of Latino Digital Solutions; and Roberto Martínez, CEO of Braven Agency.

The issue also features a special report on Latina entrepreneurs who play golf — including Azucena Maldonado, founder of the Latina Golfers Association — and an article analyzing the number and economic impact of Latino-owned businesses in the Los Angeles area.

This exclusive edition marks a major milestone in Negocios Now’s expansion along the West Coast, following the successful launch of the Latinos 40 Under 40™ program in the San Francisco Bay Area last year. In addition, the edition highlights Latino talent across various industries and showcases the influence of Latino professionals and entrepreneurs on both the local and national economy.

“Expanding to the second-largest city in the US is an exciting challenge,” said Clemente Nicado, Publisher of Negocios Now. “We know that Latino leadership is present across all industries, and these talented individuals deserve recognition for their achievements and contributions.”

The Latinos 40 Under 40™ program recognizes 40 outstanding young Latino professionals under the age of 40 for their leadership, career accomplishments, and community involvement. Since its inception in Chicago in 2015, the program has honored 680 individuals across several major U.S. cities, including New York and San Francisco. The expansion to Los Angeles underscores Negocios Now’s commitment to celebrating Latino excellence on a national scale.

As with the Chicago and San Francisco Bay Area editions, BMO will serve as the main sponsor of the Los Angeles celebration.
