Negocios Now , a Chicago-based Hispanic business publication, has entered into a distribution agreement with The Chicago Tribune.

Clemente Nicado, Founder and Publisher of Negocios Now, says the agreement calls for the Tribune to distribute approximately 6,000 copies of Negocios Now from its controlled database, while Nicado Publishing will continue to distribute the remaining 4,000 copies.

A national award-winning publication, Negocios Now is a monthly B2B niche publication focused on Hispanic business owners and distributed to numerous businesses and institutions.

Nicado says the deal is part of an ongoing growth and excellence strategy for Negocios Now, which he founded in 2007. Prior to that Nicado enjoyed a successful career as an international correspondent in Latin America, and in 2003 he helped launch Hoy, the Tribune Media Group’s daily Spanish-language newspaper, an opportunity that first brought him to Chicago.

“I am pleased to have reached an agreement with the same company that brought me to Chicago 11 years ago and opened the door for me to launch Negocios Now as well as the Hispanic News Agency (HINA) and El Chicago Hispano, a customized publication,” Nicado says.

According to Nicado, the agreement will be the foundation for increasing Negocios Now’s circulation and developing other high-quality niche and custom publications for the Hispanic market. Negocios Now produces some 20 editions a year, in both print and digital format.

The agreement comes shortly after Nicado Publishing Company celebrated the first “Who is Who in Hispanic Chicago” with a special edition and a gala event at the Chicago Cultural Center.
