Chicago, IL, February 2019 (HINA) – Negocios Now is calling for nominations for the 6th Annual Who’s Who in Hispanic Chicago Special Edition, which will be announced on July 12, during a special gala event to celebrate Chicago’s Hispanic leadership.
The deadline for submissions is May 15. A selection committee will review the nominations and make the final decision regarding recipients and the selected individuals will be notified via email.
Candidates will come from a variety of sectors including, entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, members of the legal field, realtors, local government, education and healthcare.
Nominations will be sent in from community members based on criteria, which is available for review at Negocios Now website: www.negociosnow.com/nominatewho/. Candidates are also encouraged to nominate themselves if they fit the criteria.
“Twelve years ago, I left the Chicago Tribune to create a publication focused on the growing Latino business community. This would serve as a basis to encourage them even in difficult times,” says Negocios Now’s Founder and Publisher, Clemente Nicado. “These days, Negocios Now has gone even further in its eagerness to celebrate Latinos with the annual special edition and event that recognizes the growing community of entrepreneurs and business leaders. ”
Since 2014, Who’s Who of Hispanic Chicago’s distinguished award categories have included: Business of the Year, the Community Champion Award, Latinas in Business Award and Lifetime Achievement Award, along with a special recognition for a corporation that has shown commitment to the Hispanic community. The publication will begin notifying selected individuals in the weeks to come.
