Meet all five leaders to be honored at the Negocios Now Who’s Who Gala

Negocios Now is proud to announce the complete list of Latino leaders who will be honored during the 2025 Who’s Who in Hispanic Business Gala, taking place on July 25 at the Old Post Office, an architectural gem in downtown Chicago.
“This year, we are privileged to recognize another extraordinary group of individuals whose leadership, vision, and service continue to uplift our communities,” said Clemente Nicado, Publisher of Negocios Now.
Claudette Soto, CEO of baso Ltd., will receive the Latinas in Business Award. A dynamic leader and passionate advocate for community development, Claudette is known for her unwavering commitment to empowering underserved populations through civic engagement and public service.
“We are humbled to give Claudette this recognition. Her work reflects a deep understanding of the challenges facing minority communities, and she consistently leverages her expertise to create meaningful change,” said Nicado.
Pablo Enriquez, founder of Enriquez Produce, will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Born in Coahuila and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, Pablo launched Enriquez Produce in 1989 with the support of his wife, Agustina. What started as a small family operation in Pilsen has grown into a leading Midwest produce distributor.
“If you want to write a story of sacrifice and entrepreneurial success, you have to include the name Pablo Enriquez,” said Nicado. “Three decades later, Enriquez Produce stands as a monument to what immigrants can achieve when they work hard.”
Marta Cerda, CEO of ASI, will receive the Community Champion Award. A mission-driven executive with a remarkable track record across the corporate, nonprofit, philanthropic, and political sectors, Marta is known for her strategic vision and passion for social impact. 
“Marta is the face of a community leader who tirelessly fights for the well-being of her community with enormous passion and a sense of responsibility. She is a true champion,” said Nicado.
Homero Tristan, founder of Tristan & Cervantes, will receive the Small Business Award. A respected attorney with a strong focus on business and employment law, Homero is deeply committed to advocating for the Latino community and advancing diversity in the legal profession. “Homero is a lawyer and entrepreneur who always stands by the causes of his immigrant community. His legal advocacy and mentorship have made a lasting impact across Chicago and beyond,” said Nicado.
As previously announced, Luis Puig Jr., CEO of A.L.L. Construction, will be recognized with the Business of the Year Award. Under his leadership, the company—founded by his father more than six decades ago—has grown into a top player in its industry.
The Who’s Who Gala continues its tradition of celebrating Latino excellence, leadership, and entrepreneurship in Chicago and beyond.
