JuanPablo Prieto currently serves as the Senior Manager of Diversity Programs and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Liaison Officer for the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA).
He is responsible for managing the CTA’s Diversity Programs Department, which oversees the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Labor Compliance, and Workforce Initiatives Programs. He and his team are responsible for certifying DBE firms, connecting DBE firms with potential prime contractors, monitoring contracts totaling over $5 billion, and connecting job seekers with employment opportunities on CTA construction projects.
JuanPablo also has a passion for providing resources and tools to small businesses for growth and development.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from DePaul University and resides on the north side of Chicago with his family.
