Martin Encinas Leon is the founding partner of Harper Real Estate, a premier boutique brokerage in San Francisco, redefining what it means to buy and sell real estate in the Bay Area. A proud San Francisco native, Martin grew up in the Mission District and earned a full scholarship to the University of Southern California, where he completed a bachelor’s degree in the music industry and business administration. 

Before launching his real estate career, Martin built a successful path in tech, working coast to coast for industry giants Apple and Google. Along the way, he honed the business savvy and technological expertise that would later set Harper Real Estate apart in a competitive market. 

Martin’s return to San Francisco was more than a homecoming—it was a mission. Inspired by a powerful conversation with his immigrant parents, who shared they hadn’t invested in real estate because they didn’t know the industry or anyone in it, Martin decided to become that trusted resource for families like his own. Today, he leads Harper Real Estate with a client-first approach rooted in education, community, and generational impact. 

Outside of his business, Martin is deeply committed to service. He volunteers with the SMART Program, the Latino Community Foundation, and Dev/Mission, supporting equity in education, tech, and housing. In his downtime, you’ll find him working out, traveling, discovering new food and music, listening to podcasts, and learning from successful entrepreneurs.
