Luisa Castellanos started her entrepreneurial journey at age 11 making plush toys called Pock-it Palz and selling them to toy stores, art galleries, and several Whole Foods locations across the country.
Graduating in 2015 from DePaul University with a degree in Entrepreneurship and Marketing, Luisa later developed a passion for helping independent businesses. Having worked with several independent retailers and art galleries – including Rotofugi Designer Toy Store and the Elmhurst Art Museum – Luisa discovered the lack of friendly, reliable technology support available to these brick-and-mortar businesses. At the end of 2014 she co-founded Science, a boutique IT consulting agency. At the end of 2019 she led a strategic pivot to their existing low-cost subscription model, IT helpdesk for restaurants called Science On Call. Luisa and her team are dedicated to helping restaurants navigate not only the pandemic, but the future of hospitality.
