Cancel Lorenzo began his career at Apple in 2020 through the company’s prestigious Finance Development Program. Since then, he has gained cross-functional experience across five of Apple’s Corporate Finance branches—Operations, R&D, Retail, Sales, and Infrastructure. He currently supports Infrastructure Services Finance, overseeing capital strategy for Apple’s global data center hardware investments.
Beyond Apple, Lorenzo is deeply committed to what he calls “pillars of productivity,” which include real estate ventures across the U.S. and Mexico, as well as education and philanthropy. He serves as Vice President of Driven Academics, a mentorship-based education company, and leads nonprofit initiatives through the Driven Education Foundation.
As an Academic Coach, Lorenzo has helped over 75 students craft standout college application essays, with admissions to schools across the CSU and UC systems, Ivy League universities, and institutions like Stanford and Oxford. As a Career Coach, he’s guided young professionals toward internships and full-time roles at companies such as Apple, Google, Paramount Pictures, and U.S. Bank.
In 2018, Lorenzo co-founded a nonprofit that has donated over 16 vehicles to low-income families in the Bay Area. Through the Driven Education Foundation, he has helped provide over $50,000 in scholarships and delivered personalized mentorship to underserved, first-generation, and minority students. Originally from El Centro, California—a border town near Mexicali, Baja California—Lorenzo is proud of his first-generation, low-income roots. He became the first in his extended family to attend a four-year university, graduating from UC Berkeley in 2020 with a B.A. in Economics.
