Negocios Now will publish its first list of Latino Chefs in its edition of Who’s Who in Hispanic Business that it produces for its annual Gala, on July 21, at the Fairmont Chicago hotel.

The list includes the famous Spanish chef José Andrés, owner of restaurants in several cities in the United States, (including two in Chicago) and founder of World Central Kitchen, for which he received the National Humanities Medal.

Also included on the list are Chefs Carlos Gaytan, Stephen Sandoval, and other multi-award-winning chefs.

“Although over 16 years, we have published countless articles from the restaurant industry, we are excited to have a first list of renowned Chefs who are an essential part of Latino culinary culture,” said Clemente Nicado, Publisher of Negocios Now.

“This initiative is part of our efforts to increase our production of business content in Chicago and throughout the country,” he said.

Founded in 2007, Negocios Now launched 2014 a special edition and Gala called Who’s Who in Hispanic Business, to recognize the leadership of Hispanics in different sectors of the economy.

This year the special edition will also include a list of 50 Fast Growing Hispanic Businesses in Illinois, the headquarters of the publication.

The Negocios Now Business Gala frequently brings together more than 350 people, including leaders in Business, Corporate, Law, Real Estate, and other sectors.
