Juan Moreno, renowned architect and owner of JGMA, continues to leave his mark on Chicago and beyond. On behalf of Burling Builders, Inc., Beehyyve, and his team at JGMA, Moreno proudly announced the upcoming expansion of the City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) School of Nursing at Kennedy- King College.
This project aims to bring vital healthcare education and career opportunities to the Englewood community, fostering local growth and empowerment. Partnering with CCC and the Public Building Commission of Chicago (PBC), Moreno expressed excitement about working alongside The HOH Group, Inc., HELEN TORRES & ASSOCIATES LLC, and Adonius Corp.
“This project is about more than just a building— it’s about driving economic growth, improving healthcare access, and creating lasting career pathways for South Side residents,” Moreno stated.
Additionally, Moreno announced a second impactful initiative: the Educare Lake County project. Developed in collaboration with Start Early, this early childhood education center will serve underresourced families in Lake County.
Located between Shiloh Park Middle School and Zion Central Middle School, the center will provide a nurturing environment for children from infancy to age five. Educare Lake County will not only deliver high-quality education but also serve as a community hub, fostering family interaction and collaboration. “This is a space designed to inspire, upport, and transform lives,” Moreno said.
With these two projects, Moreno and JGMA continue to demonstrate their commitment to uplifting communities through visionary design and impactful partnerships.
