As a product manager for Allstate, Juan Morales, uses his caring persona to build bridges between people and lend a helping hand when needed. This same caring persona is demonstrated at home with his wife and little baby boy.

This empathy for others helped him be recognized as a trusted partner who builds relationships in cross-functional teams to deliver connected digital solutions for customers.

During his career with Allstate, he has worked as a Product Owner and Product Manager leading customer and agency-facing initiatives. He joined Allstate in 2015 through a competitive three-year leadership rotation program which allowed him to build his business acumen and leadership skills through Agency Distribution, Digital Marketing, and Claims.

In addition to his job, he served in various roles with the Professional Latino Allstate Network, an employee resource group with a focus on attracting and developing Hispanic talent.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Illinois Chicago where he also worked in the UIC Hispanic Center of Excellence in Medicine. At UIC he served as a program assistant where he evaluated the results of the Latino Health Science Enrichment program and recommended suggestions for improvement.

Also at UIC, he developed training with an emphasis on interpersonal skills and program operations for mentors and developed and implemented a recruitment strategy to increase the number of talented applicants to the program.

He said HACE allowed him to strengthen his leadership skills and increased his self-awareness through the Emerging Latino Leadership Program. He has been the beneficiary of mentoring by several HACE alumni who have exhibited the passion and dedication for developing Hispanic leaders that the organization embodies. He is committed to paying it forward by developing young emerging Latino leaders and graduated from the HACE’s Emerging Latino Leadership Panel in 2020.
