Macedo not only runs and manages Peke’s Pozole with the help of his great employees, but he also attends DePaul University and is about to open a second business, Las Toxicas, with a partner.

He says he is new to “this whole business thing” considering he and his family have been in the industry for only about four years. His mother started the business and then passed it to him. He knows every position in the restaurant and has been managing it from the backend for years.
