Jesus Jimenez is a partner at Marquette Associates. Marquette Associates is an independent investment consulting firm headquartered in Chicago with $450 billion in assets under advisement. An owner of the firm, Jesus joined Marquette Associates in 2012 and has 14 years of investment experience. He serves as the investment consultant to institutional clients with a focus on Taft-Hartley/Unions and Endowments & Foundations responsible for providing expertise on asset allocation, investment manager selection, investment policy development, and performance measurement analysis. Prior to becoming an investment consultant, Jesus was a member of the client servicing team at Marquette Associates and the head of the performance analytics team. Jesus is a voting member of the firm’s defined contribution services committee and traditional investment manager search committee.

As a first-generation college graduate from Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood and a product of Chicago Public Schools (alumnus of Jordan Community School and Lane Tech College Prep High School), Jesus’ journey reflects resilience, opportunity and the transformative power of education. He holds a Bachelor of Science in economics from DePaul University and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) with distinction in finance and applied economics from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. Attending DePaul University was transformational – not just academically, but personally – reinforming values of service, integrity and community. He serves as a board member of the financial advisory committee for the Sisters of St. Francis. With past experience serving on the Auxiliary Board for the National Museum of Mexican Art.

Jesus and his wife, Beatriz, recently became parents to Sebastian, an exciting time in the Jimenez residence with an emphasis on passing on values and cultural traditions that have shaped and defined their journey. Deeply grateful for the opportunities that have characterized his career, Jesus is intentional about mentoring and empowering the next generation of industry leaders.
