Her dedication led to an internship at KRON 4 News in San Francisco, where she gained valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

Jacquelyn’s professional journey began in San Angelo, Texas, where she worked as a multimedia journalist for two years. She then continued her career in Upstate New York, covering impactful weather events and human interest stories throughout the Hudson Valley—often highlighting voices and experiences that might otherwise go unheard. Most recently, in El Paso, Texas, Jacquelyn reported on a wide range of issues, from border-related stories to city council developments, demonstrating both her versatility and commitment to informing the public.

Throughout her career, Jacquelyn has remained deeply committed to uplifting and representing the Latino community. She consistently shines a light on important stories that spotlight Latino voices, culture, and lived experiences, ensuring that her reporting not only informs but empowers.

Driven by her love for community and family, Jacquelyn has always aspired to return closer to the Bay Area. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys hiking and expressing her vibrant personality through salsa dancing—further reflecting her strong connection to culture and community.
