Guadalupe Murga is a bioengineer, researcher, and applied scientist. Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous grants and research projects across Argentina, Colombia, the USA, and Spain, contributing her scientific expertise to diverse global initiatives. Today, she is the co-founder and CEO of Sylvarum, a startup that combines science and technology to hack seed metabolism and improve their performance—pushing the boundaries of agricultural innovation.
With over 7 years of diverse and interdisciplinary experience, she has honed her expertise through consistent participation in various national and international projects, including significant roles at the National University of Tucumán, the Balseiro Institute, and The University of New Mexico, where she was awarded a prestigious Fulbright fellowship.
In addition to her extensive research background, Guadalupe pursued specialized training in renewable energies at Northern Arizona University in the USA, which complemented her broader scientific vision. She also gained valuable practical experience, working for two years as a clinical engineer and collaborating with the sustainable consulting firm BecauseEnergyMatters in Italy.
Outside her professional endeavors, Guadalupe actively contributes to the advancement of the field by serving on the board of directors of both the Singularity University BsAs Chapter and the Argentine Chamber of Biotechnology, demonstrating her deep commitment to driving scientific and technological progress in meaningful ways.
