 Grace is a forward-thinking, collaborative, and pragmatic business leader with an exceptional ability to manage critical strategic initiatives and complex execution to accelerate a company’s growth and innovation. She is eager to address disparities in access to care and advance consumer-centric innovations that can promote positive health outcomes.

 Currently, Grace serves as Director in the healthcare innovation team at Walgreens Boots Alliance, a Fortune 40 company and the first global pharmacy-led health and wellbeing enterprise with operations in the U.S., Europe, and Latin America. In this role, she evaluates and executes on new business opportunities, industry partnerships and go-to-market strategies. She works closely with teams in product management, finance, user experience, clinical programs, and technology including Microsoft. During her career at Walgreens, she also served for two years as Vice-Chair for the Latino Professionals Network and her team efforts were featured in the Corporate Social Responsibility Report.

 Previously, Grace was a leader in the Market Development and Sales team at Walgreens and a Senior Consultant in the Health practice at a Global Management Consulting Firm. She also held positions at the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington DC, the Institute for Policy Research and the Economics Department at Northwestern University. Her research was published in an economics journal by the University of Chicago Press and has also been recognized by the National Science Foundation.

 Grace is an Economist by training and holds Master degrees from Northwestern University and the University of Maryland as well as a Certificate in Financial Economics from the Kellogg School of Management. She was born and raised in Ecuador and has traveled extensively through Latin America. Her hobbies include salsa dancing, running, yoga, cooking, and ecotourism. She has also actively volunteered with nonprofits, including Prospanica, Junior Achievement, HACE, HSF, NALHE.
