San Francisco – Negocios Now is proud to announce that Google will sponsor the Latinos 40 under 40™ program in Chicago and the San Francisco Bay Area, providing key support to an initiative launched by Nicado Publishing Company ten years ago.
“We are incredibly grateful to once again have Google’s support for Negocios Now and our ongoing efforts to recognize emerging Latino leaders across the country,” said Clemente Nicado, publisher of Negocios Now.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Google supported NPC publications through advertising in El Chicago Hispano. Two years ago, the company also awarded a grant and provided coaching to help strengthen Negocios Now’s digital platform.
Launched in 2015, the Latinos 40 under 40™ program was created to highlight outstanding young Latino professionals across various sectors. In 2018, the event successfully expanded to New York, and this year, it is expected to take place in at least six major U.S. cities.
With BMO as the primary sponsor, the Chicago edition of Latinos 40 under 40™ Class of 2024 will take place on April 30, followed by the San Francisco Bay Area event on May 29 in Mountain View, Silicon Valley.
By summer, the total number of Latinos under 40 recognized by Negocios Now will reach 680 since the program’s inception.
“When we launched this initiative a decade ago, we never imagined we would gather so much Latino talent. I’m deeply thankful to our sponsors and to so many in the community who have supported this mission,” said Nicado.
In addition to Google, Peoples Gas, and Cabrera Capital are also sponsoring the Chicago celebration. At the same time, Los Angeles Latino Investors will once again serve as partners for the San Francisco event.
