Global Latino Fest!
More than 500 Chicago movers and shakers in business, media and the nonprofit sector came together on Friday, Oct. 11 for Global Latino Fest, a highly anticipated Hispanic Heritage Month event. Now in its ninth year, the event was organized by Milena Tous, president of Multi Latino Marketing Agency Inc., and Pat Pulido Sanchez of Pulido Sanchez Communications. Guests were treated to savory Latin inspired cuisine, mouth-watering drinks and live entertainment including dances from Mexico, Brazil and Peru. The proceeds from this year’s event benefited The Resurrection Project and will be used in launching the La Casa Scholarship Fund.
James Cabrera at Crain’s Middle Market
United Building Maintenance Inc. CEO James Cabrera was among the panelists for the fourth-annual Crain’s Middle Market University, a breakfast event hosted at Swissotel Chicago by Crain’s Chicago Business and titled “Strategies for Middle Market Companies.” UBM operates facilities across the Midwest and is among the largest Hispanic owned businesses in the Chicago area.
