Sandra Torres, an Emmy Award-winning journalist and storyteller, will serve as emcee for the Negocios Now Gala, taking place July 23 at Beau Chateau Banquets.
Torres brings a wealth of on-camera and storytelling experience to the role. She spent years as a bilingual reporter for NBC 5 and Telemundo Chicago, covering stories for both English- and Spanish-speaking audiences across the Chicago area.
In July 2025, Torres stepped away from broadcast news in pursuit of a better work-life balance. She went on to found Torres Bilingual Media, where she now serves as Founder and Creative Director. Through her company, Torres helps brands and organizations communicate authentically, inclusively, and with impact — specializing in bilingual video campaigns, corporate narratives, and freelance documentary work that connect with diverse audiences.
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, Torres draws on years of expertise in content creation, editing, and on-camera talent — skills she’ll bring to the stage as she hosts this year’s Negocios Now Gala.
