Eddy Angélica Encinales is a dynamic leader in financial services with deep expertise in program management, strategic operations, and community empowerment. As Chief of Staff at Cabrera Capital Markets, she supports the CEO in managing priorities and external engagements, while serving as a strategic advisor to ensure his vision is executed efficiently across the organization. She plays a key role in driving operational excellence, implementing strategic initiatives, and advancing the firm’s long-term growth.
Previously, Eddy spent over five years at the Aspen Institute, rising from program coordinator to senior program manager across two divisions—Ascend, focused on family prosperity, and Latinos & Society, centered on Latino wealth creation. She led internal operations, supported policy initiatives expanding economic opportunity, built a national program for Latino entrepreneurs, and produced high-level convenings, including a Summit series with the White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity. She also championed equity within the organization, co-founding the Women of Color Employee Affinity Group and serving on the Task Force on Equity and Inclusion.
Eddy’s earlier experience includes project management and fundraising at Opportunity Nation, and holding project and administrative roles at Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from NYU, where she earned a certificate in political economy. She also holds FINRA Series 7, 52, and 63 licenses, reinforcing her expertise in financial markets and regulatory compliance.
Committed to youth empowerment and community leadership, Eddy served on the National Youth Advisory Board at Young Invincibles and currently sits on the Junior Board of Iskali, a faith-based organization for young adults. Through her unique blend of financial insight and purpose-driven leadership, she continues to advance innovation and equity across both corporate and community spaces.
