Diana Alfaro is dedicated to empowering Latinx-, Latino-, Latina-, and Hispanic-owned businesses. In her role Diana serves minorities, women, persons with disabilities, and veterans in business with a focus on Latinx/o/a and Hispanic-owned businesses. She connects them to crucial resources, services, and incentives available to them through the State of Illinois, also providing them with technical assistance as needed.

Diana’s attention to detail, organization, and quality are a staple of her over six years of experience with community outreach and twelve years of experience in federal regulation compliance. She is also passionate about contributing to her community and sustaining and creating more economic wealth in Latinx communities.

Diana earned a Master of Science in International Public Service and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Latin American/Latino studies from DePaul University. In her free time she loves to travel, rock climb, explore caves, and find new ways to physically and mentally challenge herself.
